    Responsibilities

    • Using Google Analytics best practices to guide content and web presence.
    • Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
    • Stay plugged in to emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
    • SEO plan execution and generate performance reports for team discussion.
    • Work with hosting provider to resolve issues when needed.
    • Create and maintain website documentation.

    Qualifications

     *This part-time position (20 hours per week) can work remotely from anywhere in the United States*

     

    • Experience with Google and Bing’s services, including Analytics and Webmaster Tools
    • Experience with Google’s Keyword Tool
    • Google Analytics Certification
    • A functional understanding of HTML and CSS
    • A solid grasp of page titles, H1, H2 and meta description
    • The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
    • Proven success in link building and viral strategies
    • The ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy
    • A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO
    • A solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO
    • Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs
    • A background in creating reports showing web analytics data and site evaluations
    • An up-to-date, working knowledge of current, past, and projected trends in the SEO industry
    • Familiarity with the best tools in the trade
    • Success in working with a B2B company to increase traffic for keywords
    • 2-5 years of experience working with a B2B company for SEO
    • 2-3 B2B SEO customer references
    • Ability to work in a strong KPI environment with benchmarks and the ability to show progress

    Supplementary skills: 

    • PHP, UX, IA, CRO, SEM, Content Strategy, Social Media, Wordpress
    • Experience with website retargeting
